Camden AHEC is committed to improving the health of the medically underserved - the ethnic and culturally diverse, the aged, the poor, the very young, the unemployed, the homeless and the uninsured. Particular emphasis is on providing services in the City of Camden and the Counties of Camden and Burlington.

The emergency shelter, with room for 38 women and children fleeing domestic violence in their homes, is one of the largest in New Jersey.
The Camden County Family Support Organization assists families with children living with developmental, social, emotional, academic, behavioral or mental health issues as well as those who are justice impacted through the Children's System of CAre.
