On the first Wednesday of every month, Food is Important Mobile Food Pantry is here in Pennsauken, NJ, to serve local residents who are in need. Supported by the Food Bank of South Jersey, we provide frozen proteins, fresh produce, pantry staples, snacks, and personal care items for individuals and families.
Beginning at 9:30 am, cars can begin to line up at 8216 Park Avenue in Pennsauken (entrance is on St. Martin's Road)--across from the middle school. Registration is at that location, and cars are then sent to the Bethel-Hosanna AME Church for distribution.
Jefferson Health is also on-site, conducting surveys of residents, for which they will receive a gift card.
Our volunteer staff is welcoming and supportive, and we are inspired by the mission and leadership of Bethel-Hosanna AME Church (Pastor Reverend Richard F. Norris II) to serve this community and those in need.
