An estimated 37 people lost their lives to suicide in Camden County last year. On average 45-46 lose their lives in the county every year. The county has the highest rate of overdoses and second highest overdose fatality rate. Where do we go from here? This walk and talk (Dr. Kha' Sadler) from Rowan University will highlight the need to increase our efforts to ensure we highlight resources in the county to address this and provide evidenced-based assistance where it is needed. Our goal is to reduce stigma, increase engagement and assist Camden County's residents in overcoming all forms of mental illness and substance use disorder.
Light refreshments will be provided. Tables, resources, speakers, and a face painter.
Secure parking will be provided at the Camden County Prosecutor's, Florio Center for Public Service, 200 Federal Street, Camden, NJ 08103
