Eating Disorders: Assessment, Intervention, and Treatment

Join us for a 2-hour hybrid or in-person workshop providing an overview of major eating disorders, their signs and symptoms, and intervention strategies. Learn about the continuum of care, criteria for different levels of treatment, and the Renfrew Center's programs to support collaborative care.

The event takes place on July 10th, 2025, from 12pm-2pm. It is hybrid or in-person at 17-07 Romaine St., Fair Lawn, NJ 07410.

Cost: $40

Credits: 2NBCC Credits, 2 NASW Clinical Credits

Participants will:

  • Understand the underlying factors that drive eating disorders.
  • Recognize the complexities often masked by co-occuring disorders.
  • Improve skills in identifying signs and symptoms for timely referrals.
  • Gain knowledge of treatment options and intervention strategies.

Who Should Attend:

  • Social service, counseling, and medical professionals with experience in social service or clinical settings. Open to Master's level professionals and experienced providers in related fields.
