The Youth Achievement Program provides the opportunity for young people to formulate realistic career goals and improve their academic, personal and social skills. Qualified participants include adolescents and young adults aged 16-21 years. They will have the opportunity to obtain their GED, serve an internship, and gain valuable professional experience as a volunteer. Appropriate training, counseling and mentoring services are provided, along with job coaching and job searching assistance to achieve their completion of academic and professional aspirations.
Those enrolled will receive a $75 weekly stipend, based on attendance and performance as well as complimentary bus tickets for travel costs.
