Father to a Fatherless Generation is a nonprofit organization that mentors children raised in single-family homes. Our mission is to put an end to a growing crisis in America. Statistics show, children that grow up in a fatherless home have a greater risk of challenges in life than those who grew up with a father at home. Children from fatherless homes account for: • Suicide: 63% of youth suicides • Runaways: 90% of all homeless are runaway youth. • Behavioral disorders: 85% • High School dropouts: 71% • Juvenile detention rates: 70% • Substance abuse: 75% • Aggression: 75% of rates are motivated by displaced anger. It’s not always possible for a biological or stepfather to be present. Our mentors, teachers, and coaches provide support for these young men, and give them a perspective on the world that counteracts the risk of living in a single parent household. With your monetary contribution, our nonprofit organization will be one step closer to our goal to further help the communities and families within them. Research would have it that as of August 2021, there are now 19.5 million fatherless households in America.
