Arc of Camden County

Employment, training, & support for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Arc promotes and protects the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and actively supports their full inclusion and participation in the community throughout their lifetimes.

Adult Day Programs
We provide a 6-hour, Monday through Friday program to invigorate the lives of individuals with disabilities. The dreams, goals, and needs of our participants are the central focus of each day's program. A wide range of activities takes place where individuals can work on increasing their independence, daily living and social skills, employment goals, and community integration.

Occupational Training Center
The Occupational Training Center (O.T.C.) proudly offers diversified vocational rehabilitation and job placement programs for adults with disabilities. The mission of O.T.C. is to assist individuals with disabilities in reaching their highest potential by training them in a variety of vocational disciplines, providing employment opportunities, and preparing them for success in work as well as personal lives.

Residential Programs
The Arc of Camden County has partnered with the Department of Developmental Disabilities Affairs to provide safe and affordable homes for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

Residential Services are only available to those who are eligible for Medicaid Fee-for-Service. Participants have access to residential settings that include varying levels of supervision and daily care, depending on the individual’s needs and independence.

Supports may include, but are not limited to: assistance with community-based activities and assistance to, as well as training and supervision of individuals as they learn and perform the various tasks that are included in basic self-care, social skills, and activities of daily living. All of our residences are located in the community so that the participants can experience maximum integration within their community.

Supported Employment
Arc of Camden County Employment Services (ACES) offers a variety of comprehensive employment solutions to individuals searching for community-integrated employment. A division of the Arc of Camden County, we have provided services for more than 60 years.

Ticket to Work
In 2021, we became an Employment Network through the Social Security Administration (SSA). Adding this service to our already wide range of supports for people with disabilities felt like a natural fit. This program allows us to support individuals who want to obtain employment on more of a full-time basis and not be dependent upon their SSA income. Helping individuals to become financially independent is so important for them to be able to achieve their goals and dreams. Part of this service is to do benefits counseling to advise the individual how working will affect their SSA income.
