Our program provides opportunities for older Americans  that are 55 years and older to stay active and engaged while using their past skills and tools in classroom settings. The volunteers are paired with preschool programs that focus on the social and emotional development of a young children. During their time in service they mentor, tutor, and nurture children.  Our participants receive a stipend of $3.00 an hour, that does not affect any other subsidies or funds that they might be receiving. Aside from their stipend they receive yearly recognition, meal and travel reimbursements, sick and vacation leave. Aside from service activities,  we offer monthly trainings where we focus on topics that sharpen their skills and address needs that are in the community.
