Children's Specialist Services provides intervention to youth during times of emotional distress or mental health crisis.

Services include:

• School clearance
• Crisis assessment
• Linkage to community services such as outpatient or inpatient mental health and support resources
• Short-term therapy until community supports are in place

 

Who Can Benefit?

• Youth enrolled in school with mental health concerns
• Youth feeling overwhelmed due to difficulty with work, school, relationships or other life areas
• Youth struggling with at risk behaviors such as thoughts of self-harm, anger or impulsive decision making
• Youth identified by schools as needing crisis services
