The Starting Point is a private, 501 (c) 3 non?profit education and referral organization.

We coordinate and facilitate many programs, including:

Referrals to counseling and psychotherapy
The Starting Point offers referrals to on-site and local practitioners, who specialize in a wide variety of issues and approaches. More than 45 experienced practitioners and life coaches practice here at The Starting Point.

Group meetings
The Starting Point holds more than 25 free group meetings each and every week, including Alcoholics Anonymous, Sexaholics Anonymous,  Al Anon, Narcotics Anonymous, Survivors of Incest Anonymous, and Codependents Anonymous, to name just a few.

Lecture and Educational Series
Our founder, Vince DiPasquale, M.A., holds weekly lectures that are free and open to the public every Wednesday at noon and 7 pm.  We also have educational programs run by the practitioners on site that are open to the public and host guest lecturers that teach meditation and holistic health classes.

All group meetings, workshops, and most guest lectures are free and open to the public, but we “pass the basket” and ask individuals to contribute what they can.
