N.O.P.E. Community Program Info Session
6:30 pm
- 7:30 pm
In-Person (Pennsauken)
Parents and students are invited to join The Work Group for a powerful community conversation on overdose prevention. This event includes an engaging NOPE (Narcotic Overdose Prevention & Education) presentation designed to inform, empower, and equip families with critical knowledge and resources.
The NOPE program will continue to build on a foundation of knowledge among youth about the physical, psychological, and social impacts of substance use. The program components are designed to engage youth and assist them in gaining awareness of the real-life consequences of drug and alcohol use. The NOPE program will also streamline non-stigmatizing recommended language standards to all NOPE partners for presentation facilitation. The youth will learn strategies to navigate peer pressure, make healthy choices, and develop resilience against substance use.
